Grave Digger Mud Racer

This was built using a 1954 Ford panel truck and the Destroyer models. Materials cost $22.00 and 18 hours labor! Scale - 1/25th. Features rear mounted engine, hand built frame and front bumper.

Reinforced Grave Digger

A few years back Dennis asked me to build a strong model for his three year old son. This "Reinforced" Grave Digger model was built using a 1954 panel truck, and the Krusher models. Material costs was $20.00 and about 32 hours Labor. Scaled in 1/25th. Hand fabricated frame made of hard rigged plastic that came down behind the leaf springs to the axles.The axles have been reinforced with nails running through them. Also features a hand built rear bumper.

1951 Ford Grave Digger

Built using a 1954 Ford panel truck, engine from Chevy Chevelle, and the Krusher models. Materials cost of $30.00 and time was over 54 hours! Built in 1/25th scale this model has a hand fabricated frame, grill carved from wax, exhaust, front and rear bumpers, roll cage, fire wall behind the front seat, engine shield! I removed the rear doors and mounted the engine in the rear.

1950 Chevy Grave Digger

Built using two 1954 panel trucks, engine from a Ford Mustang dragster funny car, and the krusher models. Cost for materials was $40.00 with over 50 hours in labor. Scale - 1/25th. This is a hand fabricated body with rear doors removed. The rear tail lights were cut out and the rear fenders rebuilt with bondo to match the 1950 body! Front fenders and hood were extended about 1/2 inch. Other hand built features include, frame, roll cage, grill, fire wall behind the seat, and engine in the rear!

(Notice the name on the crushed vehicle's door?)

Grave Digger Monster Tractor-Trailer

Built using a Kenworth cab, front suspension from a Monogram monster tractor cab, trailer is a Great Dane box, axles and tires from 3 Bigfoot models. Cost for materials $120.00 with 165hours of work. Scaled in 1/25th. this semi-truck features hand fabricated frames, spare tire rack, and a tilt hood.

Big Grave Digger

This was built using a Grave Digger toy, and a Chevy monster model. Cost includes $ 40.00 in parts and 55 hours of labor. Scale - 1/16th. Hand fabricated frame-cage combo, exhaust, blower, seat, fuel cell, hydraulic reservoir, firewall behind seat, dash, coil over shocks, limit straps for axles, and rear mounted engine. The front axle steers.
